The breakdown
Continuing with our tour, we were enlightened about the various people that work at Eyebeam. There are residents who are chosen to come to Eyebeam based on project proposals. The residents are given money and they are basically given the time, space, and “collective brain power” of Eyebeam to experiment and prototype their design ideas.
Fellows are given a salary and work at Eyebeam for longer periods of time. They work on their own projects and form research groups. Fellows are also known as “creative technologists” at Eyebeam.
Interns help the residents with their projects and provide insightful assistance on the work that’s being done at the center.
