GENERATION O: A NATIONAL CONVENING FOR TEENS AND THEIR ARTS LEADERS
On Tuesday, Danielle, Lisette and I are off to Boston to attend Generation O, a conference held by the Institute of Contemporary Art. At Generation O museum educators and teens involved in the education programs will convene to discuss how museums can provide art education to teens. Additionally, the conference will be entirely moderated by teens. The objctive of Generation O is for multiple arts museums to come together and discuss what they have learned from their teen arts programs in order to understand what makes teen engaged with art and how museums can use that in their programs.
